【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforseveralgradesandtypesofelectrodepositedcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsonplateableplasticsubstrateswhereappearance,durabilityandresistancetothermalcyclingareimportanttoserviceperformance.Fivegradesofcoatingsareprovidedtocorrelatewiththeserviceconditionsunderwhicheachisexpectedtoprovidesatisfactoryperformance.1.2Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforcoatingsappliedsubsequenttotheapplicationofmetalfilmbyautocatalyticdepositionorsubsequenttotheapplicationofanystrikecoatingsafterautocatalyticdeposition.1.3ThefollowingcaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionsofSection6,AnnexA1,andAppendixX2,AppendixX3,andAppendixX4ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
