【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirements,performance,design,markinginstructions,testmethodsandancillarycomponentsofMulti-StoryBuildingExternalEvacuationControlledDescentDevice(CDD)systemsforemergencyescapeofpersonswhocannotusethestandardexitfacilitiesinmulti-storybuildings,definesrequirementsfortheirinstallation,periodicmaintenancewheninstalledandinstructionsfortheiruse.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytopersonalescapeparachutes,rope,chainladdersorrappellingdevices.1.3ThisspecificationdoesnotapplytoancillarycomponentsusedwithandincludedinCDDsystems,harnesses,connectinghardware,signage,specialevacuationopenings,personalprotectionequipmentordevicesandothercomponentsusedonCDDsystemswhichmaybeinstalled,purchasedorusedinaccordancewiththerequirementsspecifiedherein.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
