【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9592specifiesasetoffunctionsforcomputergraphicsprogramming,theProgrammer'sHierarch-icalInteractiveGraphicsSystem(PHIGS).PHIGSisagraphicssystemforapplicationprogramsthatproducecomputergeneratedpicturesonoutputdevices.Itsupportsoperatorinputandinteractionsbysupplyingbasicfunctionsforgraph-icalinputandhierarchicalpicturedefinition.Picturedefinitionscanberetainedcentrallywheretheymaybeeditedbyanapplication.Alternatively,graphicaldatamaybeprocessedwithoutfirststoringit.Toassistinthisprocessing,explicitcontroloverresourcesusedtoencapsulatetheresultsoftheseprocessingoperationsisprovided.Basicapplicationrequirementsintheareasoflightingandshadingareprovidedthroughprimitivesandfunctionsforcontrollingtherenderingof3Dobjects.UtilizationofrasterimagesinthegenerationofPHIGSpicturesisprovided.Picturesaredisplayedonoutputdeviceswhichmayhaveassociatedinputdevices.Severalinputdevicescanbeusedsimultaneously.Theapplicationprogramisallowedtoadaptitsbehaviourtomakebestuseoftheircapabilities.Graphicaloutputcanbeconstrainedtoparticularviews.Viewscanbespecifiedparametricallyandautomaticprocess-ingofinputoperationscanbeusedtocontrolviewing.Newinputdevicescanbedefinedfromthecapabilitiesavail-able.Functionsarespecifiedforarchivingpicturedefinitionstofile.InadditionaninterfacetotheComputerGraphicsMetafile(ISO/IEC8632)isdescribed.ThispartofISO/IEC9592definesalanguageindependentnucleusofagraphicssystemforintegrationintoaprogram-minglanguage.PHIGSisembeddedinalanguagelayerobeyingtheparticularconventionsofthelanguage.SuchlanguagebindingsarespecifiedinISO/IEC9593.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9592specifiesasetoffunctionsforcomputergraphicsprogramming,theProgrammer'sHierarch-icalInteractiveGraphicsSystem(PHIGS).PHIGSisagraphicssystemforapplicationprogramsthatproducecomputergeneratedpicturesonoutputdevices.Itsupportsoperatorinputandinteractionsbysupplyingbasicfunctionsforgraph-icalinputandhierarchicalpicturedefinition.Picturedefinitionscanberetainedcentrallywheretheymaybeeditedbyanapplication.Alternatively,graphicaldatamaybeprocessedwithoutfirststoringit.Toassistinthisprocessing,explicitcontroloverresourcesusedtoencapsulatetheresultsoftheseprocessingoperationsisprovided.Basicapplicationrequirementsintheareasoflightingandshadingareprovidedthroughprimitivesandfunctionsforcontrollingtherenderingof3Dobjects.UtilizationofrasterimagesinthegenerationofPHIGSpicturesisprovided.Picturesaredisplayedonoutputdeviceswhichmayhaveassociatedinputdevices.Severalinputdevicescanbeusedsimultaneously.Theapplicationprogramisallowedtoadaptitsbehaviourtomakebestuseoftheircapabilities.Graphicaloutputcanbeconstrainedtoparticularviews.Viewscanbespecifiedparametricallyandautomaticprocess-ingofinputoperationscanbeusedtocontrolviewing.Newinputdevicescanbedefinedfromthecapabilitiesavail-able.Functionsarespecifiedforarchivingpicturedefinitionstofile.InadditionaninterfacetotheComputerGraphicsMetafile(ISO/IEC8632)isdescribed.ThispartofISO/IEC9592definesalanguageindependentnucleusofagraphicssystemforintegrationintoaprogram-minglanguage.PHIGSisembeddedinalanguagelayerobeyingtheparticularconventionsofthelanguage.SuchlanguagebindingsarespecifiedinISO/IEC9593.
