【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverterminationboxesrated600Vorlessthatconsistoflengthsofbusbars,terminalstrips,orterminalblockswithprovisionforwireconnectorstoaccommodateincomingoroutgoingconductorsorbothandareintendedtobeusedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Terminationboxesareinvestigatedforuseonthelineorloadsideofserviceequipment.Theincomingandoutgoingconductorsmayberoutedthroughknockoutsoropeningsintheboxforcable,conduit,orelectricalmetallictubing.Theterminationboxmayalsohavespecialopeningstomatchwithsimilaropeningsinotherequipmentsuchasmetersockets,panelboards,switchorcircuitbreakerenclosures,wireways,andthelike.Theserequirementsalsocoverterminationbasestobefieldinstalledinterminationboxesandterminationboxesinwhichterminationbasesaretobefieldinstalled.Theserequirementsdonotcoverequipmentconnectedonlybybusbarsforbothinputandoutputcircuits,norequipmentcontainingswitchingdevices,relays,orovercurrentprotectivedevices.Theserequirementsalsodonotcoverbuswayfittingsknownas"EndCableTapBoxes"whicharecoveredbytheStandardforBusways,UL857.
