【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsandguidanceforthedesignandconstructionoftemporaryandpermanentbarrierstobeprovidedinandaboutbuildingsandplacesofassembly,suchbarriersbeingpositionedanddesignedtoprotectpersonsfromvarioushazardsandtorestrictorcontrolthemovementofpersonsorvehicles.ThisBritishStandardappliesto:a)barriersthatindicateroutes;b)barrierscapableofstoppingordivertingmovingvehicleswithinareaswherevehiclespeedisrestrictedtoamaximumof?16?km/h(4.44?m/s,?10?mile/h);c)walls,glazingandotherelementsofbuildingsorstructureswheresuchelementsactasprotectivebarriers;d)areasotherthanspectatorareasofsportshallsandbuildingsusedforspectatorsports.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotapplyto:1)barriersforresistingimpactfromvehiclestravellingatspeedsgreaterthan?16?km/h,e.g.bridgeparapetsbeyondthecurtilageofabuilding,orhighwaysafetybarriers(see?BS?6779);2)barriersusedinbuildingoperationsandworksofengineeringconstruction;3)safetybarriers,withorwithoutopeninggatefeatures,fortheprotectionofchildrenupto?24?months,wherethesafetyrequirementiscoveredbyaspecificsafetystandard,e.g.?BSEN1930;4)permanentmeansofaccesstomachinery(seeBSENISO14122,all?parts);5)barriersusedinspectatorareasofsportshalls,andbuildingsusedforspectatorsports(seeBSEN13200,allparts).
